PennTalks the Podcast
PennTalks the Podcast is a platform for inspiring South Asian women to come and share their stories, hurdles and achievements. It is all in the hope that, by listening to their stories, another South Asian woman in our community will get that little kick she needs to step out of her comfort zone, take up a new opportunity, or make that positive change in her life that she's been holding back on.

Vithyaa Thavapalan on Carving Your Own Path

Amanda
In this episode I speak with Vithyaa Thavapalan (also known as Vee), a community leader, founder of a South Asian women's networking group called Brown Boss Babes, private fire investigator, small-business owner, and mum.
Vee shares her story as a Tamil-Australian woman living in Australia, from growing up as the extroverted, tomboyish twin to stepping forth and carving out her dreams, despite there being a lack of support and encouragement at times for her ambitions. Through determination and grit, Vee created the opportunities she sought.
To join Brown Boss Babes or to follow Vee's fire investigation works, her Instagram accounts are @brownbossbabesau and @whatthefireau
